Day 1: Pick up from Hito Cajon border and departure to the first attraction the Green Lagoon, a small iconic lagoon that tends to have a very green emerald color due to the microorganisms that compose it; it is natural boundary between Bolivia and Chile from there you can see the Licancabur volcano, very close to these you will reach the Polques Hot Springs, which are also a product of the volcanic activity of the region, high in medicinal minerals. The next attraction is the particular Red Lagoon, unique for its abundance of algae and plankton, which give it its color and have it populated with flamingos, including the James flamingo that was thought to be extinct. Picnic lunch on route. Continuing with the journey, you visit the Stone Tree, a natural sculpture sculpted by wind erosion over thousands of years. As the last attraction of the day, you will visit the Siloli Desert, one of the driest deserts in the world characterized by having rock formations in the middle of the changing dunes is the gateway to the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, the most visited national park in Bolivia.

Day 2: Breakfast and departure to the Small Lagoons or Andean Jewels, a set of lagoons characterized by each being particular to the other in its color, smell and chemical compounds that make them so particular within this biodiversity. After that you visit the Ollague Volcano Viewpoint to contemplate a dark stone and very particular volcanic rocks in a totally desert landscape. Lunch picnic on route. Continuing with the journey you visit the awesome Rock Valley, stones with more than 8 meters high forming a natural sculpture in the middle of the imposing high plateau, next visit the Authentic Towns of Lipez: San Cristobal, known for be a mine center village from the colony age; Culpina K, iconic region of the cultivation of the golden grain of royal quinoa. The last visit in the day is the Train Cemetery, an abandoned railway complex from the 19th century. Transfer to the hotel in Uyuni.

Day 3: Pick up from the hotel. Departure to the Salt Flat visiting the Colchani village where is possible to observe the extracting salt process by hand and the salt local handicrafts. Visit to “Ojos de Sal”, the salt eyes, interesting to be the exit points of the salt water; salt hexagons, geometric shapes on the salt flats surface, piles of salt and we will cross the salt flats to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. Visit to Incahuasi Island, it is located in the heart of the salt flat and it is the biggest of a group of islands that represents an isolated ecosystem. The island is populated with giant cacti species that measures up to 12 meters high (26.25 feet), providing an impressive overview. Picnic lunch in the salt flats. Continue visiting the north side of salt flat, where we take a look the Coquesa Mummies, human archeological remains in a little cave near to Tunupa Volcano, from where you can observe the immensity of the salt flats in addition to that we carry on to the circular and wet Chiquini Cave which is full of stalactites and stalagmites. Finally we will appreciate the sunset and then transfer to hotel in Uyuni town.

Day 4: Breakfast and departure to the airport.

  • Rainy Season: from January to April. Due to the flooding, vehicles will reach the safest places and Incahuasi Island, the north side of satl flat, Tunupa and Coqueza. Sometimes, this happens in May too.
  • For Carnival, Christmas and New Year Holidays, prices will be increased.
  • Guided in French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Japanese and other languages ​​have an additional price.
