Day 1: Early departure from La Paz brings to the Royal Mountain Range, along our trip we will observe Milluni an old village, once we arrive to base camp you will enjoy a lunch. Later, starts the ascent to High Camp, situated at 5000 meters. The route is well marked and leads to an evident moraine edge where we will find the lodge. After a short break, continue checking and verifying the mountain gear. We will eat early and try to get some rest in order to be refreshed for the climb to the summit, on the following day.
Day 2: After a very early breakfast (around midnight) we will begin heading up the glacier, aiming towards the east face and arriving at the Pala. We then continue all the way to the top arriving at the summit of Huayna Potosi (6080 meters), after about six hours of ascent. Once at the top we’ll be able to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Andes Mountains and the sunrise.
