Day 1: Transfer in private transportation from San Pedro de Atacama to Hito Cajon. This transfer takes approximately 45 minutes by paved road. Change vehicle in Hito Cajon (Border between Bolivia and Chile) for getting in to Eduardo Abaroa National Park to begin the visits: The Green Lagoon, unique for the active microorganisms that give color to the water; the next visit is the hot springs of Polques, hot water eyes due to the volcanic activity of the region. We continue to the visit to the geysers “Sol de Mañana”, Morning Sun, its name is due to the activity is more notorious in the morning, also take a look to the Red Lagoon which is an amazing proof of a very diverse ecosystem in a totally desolate weather. Visit the Stone Tree, silent testimony of the erosion of the earth and the passage of the years, part of the Siloli Desert, flatland without vegetation which continues until the rustic lodge.
Day 2: Breakfast and departure to the Small Lagoons or Andean Jewels, a set of lagoons characterized by each being particular to the other in its color, smell and chemical compounds that make them so particular within this biodiversity. After that you visit the Ollague Volcano Viewpoint to contemplate a dark stone and very particular volcanic rocks in a totally desert landscape. Lunch picnic on route. Continuing with the journey you visit the awesome Rock Valley, stones with more than 8 meters high forming a natural sculpture in the middle of the imposing high plateau, next visit the Authentic Towns of Lipez: San Cristobal, known for be a mine center village from the colony age; Culpina K, iconic region of the cultivation of the golden grain of royal quinoa. The last visit in the day is the Train Cemetery, an abandoned railway complex from the 19th century. Transfer to the salt hotel in Colchani.
Day 3: Pick up from the hotel. Departure to the Salt Flat visiting the Colchani village where is possible to observe the extracting salt process by hand and the salt local handicrafts. Visit to “Ojos de Sal”, the salt eyes, interesting to be the exit points of the salt water; salt hexagons, geometric shapes on the salt flats surface, piles of salt and we will cross the salt flats to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. Visit to Incahuasi Island, it is located in the heart of the salt flat and it is the biggest of a group of islands that represents an isolated ecosystem. The island is populated with giant cacti species that measures up to 12 meters high (26.25 feet), providing an impressive overview. Picnic lunch in the salt flats. Continue visiting the north side of salt flat, where we take a look the Coquesa Mummies, human archeological remains in a little cave near to Tunupa Volcano, from where you can observe the immensity of the salt flats in addition to that we carry on to the circular and wet Chiquini Cave which is full of stalactites and stalagmites. Finally, we will appreciate the sunset and then transfer to the salt hotel.
Day 4: Pick up from the hotel in Colchani village and transfer to Uyuni airport. And private transfer from La Paz airport to visit La Paz city, one of the 7 wonder cities of the world, chosen for its unique topography full of multicultural contrasts. As your first attraction, you will visit Jaen Colonial Street, one of the first preserved streets in the neighborhood that also houses the area of four small museums; Among these, is the Museum of Precious Metals that houses an impressive hall of pre-colonial works and pieces, Tiwanacotas of silver, gold and copper. Then visit kilometer 0 of the city, Plaza Murillo, home of the Presidential Palace, the Parliament building and the Cathedral; a good number of colonial buildings still survive in the surroundings of this square.
Also, in the old colonial quarter of the city we can find the Witches’ Market, this market provides a fascinating window to the generally secret world of Aymara mysticism and herbal medicine. Then get to know the Rodríguez Market, it is the largest food market in the city of La Paz, the variety of products is as colorful as are the outfits of the local women who sell them, the cholitas who have become an icon of La Paz. By contrasting the oldest traditions of the city, you will get to know one of the most modern transport in the world: The Cable Car, the most modern public transport system in South America, perfect for this city amid mountains, rivers and altitudes. Descending from the center of La Paz you get an aerial view of the majestic La Paz to reach an area with a more pleasant temperature and visit the Moon Valley, a labyrinth of canyons and giant needles that resemble lunar shapes and are strange formations geological of various colors. The service ends with the transfer to the hotel.
Day 5: Early in the morning, transfer from La Paz to the Copacabana Sanctuary. A guided visit to the main sanctuary and pilgrimage center of Bolivia, including the Basilica where the Copacabana’s Virgin, patron saint of Bolivians. Next board the Catamaran Cruise Ship for sailing to the Sun Island, the birthplace of the Inca Empire. In this legendary island visit the Inca Garden, Stairs and Fountain. The itinerary continues with the visit to the Inti Wata Cultural Complex, the main private tourist attraction in Bolivia, which only tourists who visit the Sun Island aboard catamarans have access. This attraction includes the Ekako Underground Museum showcase archeological treasures, the Titicaca Reed Shipbuilders display, a handicraft center, the Intica Lounge, a botanical garden of Inca agriculture and a variety of Andean camelids. Later, return to the Catamaran to enjoy a lunch on board towards Copacabana. Finally, land transfer to La Paz city.
Day 6: Private transfer to the airport.

- In rainy season (January to April), the Salt Flat is covered by water; it is possible that the Incahuasi Island, Tunupa and north side of salt flat will not be available to visit because of the flooding. The vehicles will only go to the safest flooded locations.
