Day 1: Early departure from Santa Cruz to San Javier, the oldest Jesuit mission founded in 1691. On the way to visit several places like: Puerto Pailón (the first door of the Jesuit missions), San Ramón. Arrival to San Javier, visit to the recently restored 17th century church and the museum. In the afternoon visit to the Jesuit Churches of San Javier, Missionary Museum, Crafts Centers). Visit to the Piedra del Paquío, buffalo breeding hotel. After lunch, continuation of the trip to Concepción. Dinner and overnight in Concepción.
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel and then begin the visit to the missionary church of Concepción, it is a wonderful temple built in colonial times by the Jesuit missionaries and the habitants of the area, it has impressive carvings and a colonial patio that takes us back to spaindier times. The Museum is a sample of missionary and native life who lived through a different colonization, the Jesuits taught baroque music, wood art and violin making. The vestiges of this cultural exchange are exhibited in the Missionary Museum of Concepción. Visit the handycraft workshop where you can buy some souvenirs made by local woman from Concepcion and finally visit the dam that has become a natural space to spot some birds in the area and take photographs. Lunch and finally return to Santa Cruz.
